Custom QHSE software for the safety of your industrial sites

SolutionsHSE / QHSE managers, industrial sites

QHSE-Expert is a functional base from which I-Novexpert builds an industrial safety solution adapted to each client's procedures. Available on computer and mobile phone, it makes HSE actions paperless and traceable.

Why digitise QHSE management on an industrial site?

On an industrial site, the HSE / QHSE department juggles a mass of documents: attendance logs, induction booklets, hot work permits, prevention plans, safety protocols, training certificates. On paper or in spreadsheets, these documents are hard to keep up to date, to find and to get signed. Yet on the day of an audit, a labour inspection or, worse, an incident, you need to prove quickly who was on site, who had been trained and which authorisation had been issued.

These documents meet very real obligations. The French Labour Code, for example, requires a prevention plan for work entrusted to an external company (articles R.4512-6 et seq.) and a safety protocol for loading and unloading operations (articles R.4515-4 et seq.). The hot work permit, recommended by the French INRS, is also often required by insurers for hot work. Making them paperless saves time on their management and provides a reliable, dated and signed record.

Six independent modules

Each module addresses a specific obligation of the HSE / QHSE department, and can be deployed on its own or with the others:

  • Attendance and evacuation roll call: an industrial site attendance log, on a tablet at the entrance, to know at any time who is on site.
  • Digital safety induction: induction booklet, multiple-choice quiz and signature, available via QR code.
  • Paperless hot work permits: authorisation, signatures and permit tracking.
  • Paperless prevention plans: for work carried out by external companies.
  • Carrier safety protocols: for loading and unloading operations.
  • Training and qualification tracking: each employee's training, qualifications and due dates.

Knowing at all times who is on site

The attendance log, on a tablet at the entrance, records the arrivals and departures of employees, contractors and visitors. If the alarm goes off, the list of people on site is available immediately for the evacuation roll call, instead of a paper register left at reception. For external contractors, the digital safety induction complements this log: they read the site's safety instructions on their phone, answer a multiple-choice quiz and sign.

On computer and mobile phone

The HSE / QHSE manager works from their computer; employees, contractors and carriers use their phone, via a link or a QR code. Every action is logged and can be found in seconds during an audit or inspection.

This traceability also helps day to day: a hot work permit is prepared, signed and closed without chasing signatories, a prevention plan remains available to all parties, and employees' training and qualification due dates are visible before they are missed.

A solution adapted to your procedures

QHSE-Expert does not impose a way of working: we adapt it to your safety procedures, with an Agile approach, in close collaboration with your HSE / QHSE department. It is rolled out module by module, starting with your priorities.

In practice, the project starts with a review of your current documents and approval workflows. The priority modules, often the safety induction and hot work permits, are set up first, and the others are added at your department's pace. Your teams keep their bearings, with tools that follow their own rules rather than a generic template.

Which sites is it for?

QHSE-Expert is designed for HSE / QHSE managers of industrial sites that regularly host external companies, carriers or visitors: production sites, warehouses, logistics platforms or classified installations. The more contractors and documents there are, the more time and reliability going paperless brings.
